Open The Image with MSPAINT
STEP 2: Save it as... a 256 color BITMAP file
STEP 3: Run a command prompt and rename the file
command:
ren < image source > <filename>.ico
rename the bitmap file to icon

Create Custom Icons using MSPAINT
Want to create a custom icon from any image. Its easy just follow this instructions
STEP 1:
Open The Image with MSPAINT
STEP 2: Save it as... a 256 color BITMAP file
STEP 3: Run a command prompt and rename the file
command:
